The Friendly Pink Gorilla traveled from Ohio to Connecticut for a first birthday party. The guests were giggling and dancing along with the gorilla with their faces painted and bellies filled with yummy cake. The gorilla even rode the birthday girl's scooter around the house. As the gorilla left the party, the older children asked, "Where will the gorilla sleep tonight?" Though the one year old loved the party, it was her older sister's four year old friends who can't stop talking about the "best party ever". They are comparing it to last spring when the Easter Bunny hopped into town for an Easter Egg Hunt. The guests enjoyed facepainting by a local artist with images ranging from the rainbow, dinosaur, butterflies, and hearts.
